Class President Crowns Homecoming Queen The homecoming activities began with the election of maids and the decoration of homerooms. Each homeroom chose a girl to represent them in the festivities. The senior class selected a queen from their maids. On Friday afternoon of the homecoming week -end there was a pep rally attended by the entire student body and faculty. Pep talks were given by the officers of the Pep Club and Coach Donohue spoke on the team's hopes. The football team was then introduced, followed by the presentation of the homecoming maids. The orchestra played a few numbers and the cheerleaders led all in cheering for the team's victory. On Sunday afternoon the homecoming week-end came to o climax. During the half-time ofthe football game, Sharon Narmansell was crowned queen by the senior class president. The game ended with the Aquinas Falcons flying to victory over the Labaure Lions. Students Rally At Game, Pre-Game Festivities Homecoming celebrations iust aren't complete without a bonfire, so for the second year Aquinas held one. On Saturday night fhe student body and faculty assembled in the back of B-building to witness the destruction of the Laboure Lions. After a solemn procession to the pyre the Lions were burned in effigy. Then five senior bays led all Aquinos ions into o hootencnny. I ..
