Come on it won't break you. Ticket anybody? Remember, there's another game before ours. You'll get to see at least one good game. And so a varsity player sold tickets to the DeAndreis Tournament. Admittedly it was an off-season for varsity basketball with 19 losses against 4 wins. But game analysis shows more good points than the game results. Of the games lost, 22'Ms were lost by a margin of five points or fewer. Defensive work showed the team to be a go-getter, possessing the ball more times than the opponent. Greg Hoffman managed to steal the ball when the team needed it the most. Weaknesses on the Falcons' part came close to the basket when their shots seemed iinxed, and efforts frozen. First-half leads diminished as time sneaked energy away from the varsity squad. Height averaged at 5'9 for the team, making it one of the shortest on the game circuit. Greg Hoffman was named to the second team of the All-C.A.C. teams. At half-season Jim Welton totaled 171 shots taken .
