Some ofthe teachers, therefore, teach a class or two of religion, besides teaching a science, language, or art. This page is dedicated to those teachers who are not full-' time religion teachers, but supplement the religion faculty by teaching at least one class of religion. It is not the purpose of formal education to develop the complete individual. Parents are responsible for all phases of education, except for the training of the intellectual mon, which they have delegated to the school. Since teaching is reveal ing truths, education must en-- lighten mindsabout religious truths also. Teaching re- ligion does not insure that the pupils will live by the theories, however. Religion is the tool used by St. Thomas Aquinas faculty to inculcate the students with principles ,by which they may guide their lives. The student must appreciate the principles of their own wills. Then they will be saturated with the love and service of Gad. Extracurriculars help to show that religion is something that is lived, not just learned. Class sodalities work for individual spiritual improvement and devote time to apostolic works. The Mission Club advocates paying and praying For missionaries, Junior Theresians pray and sacrifice for vocations to the sisterhoad.
