Sodalily Sponsors Basket Drive One of the most important proiects sponsored by the Sodalities is the Christmas Basket Drive. Forty-eight baskets, approximately one each per homeroom, was the goal for Christmas of 1963 and a total of Forty-five were filled. .Student drivers tronsported the baskets to the needy in the city and county parishes. Freshmen Nancy Secrease and Don Schmidt take stock of supplies.

Spanish Club Spain, an old and colorful country, rich in romantic traditions, is situated in southwestern Europe. ln a way, this is the purpose of the Spanish Club at Aquinas. Meetings held after school or during class time provide its members with more than a knowledge of the language. Discussions are centered about Spain's land, its people, its history, its religion, and its art. More important is that Spain's influence is felt in our sister country, South America. As a result of this, Spanish Club members are even more interested in what happens to the Spanish-speaking world.
