. And 1976 The Bicentennial spirit was introduced into the dress code by reserving a special day in which both students and faculty dressed in red, white, and blue attire. Hats boasting stars and stripes, along with ties, were added to the students' Bicentennial dress. Not only members of the student body participated in this event. Father Brembos, Sister Eloise and other members of the faculty and administration were attired to fit the spirit of this special day.

ittitttttitttittit America's Eagle ' Six years of dispute and debate resulted in the choice of the bald eagle as the symbol of our United States. This bird, a true monarch of the skies , serves as a representation of the ideas for which our nation stands.
