Typing courses offered include Personal Typing, which is open fo all inferesfed sfudenfs, and Business Typing, which consisfs mosfly of sec- refarial sfudenfs. Basic business offer- ings include General Business, Busi- ness Law, Business lvlafh, Bookkeep- ing and Business Crganizafion and lvlanagemenf. Secrefarial offerings range from Sfeno, Transcripfion, and Nofehand fo Business English and Secrefarial Office Pracfice. Disfrib- ufive Educafion sfudenfs musf have Disfribufive Educafion in fheir iuhior year, and have fo have faken Psychol- ogy and Human Relafions in Refail- ing, Consumer Economic Salesman- ship and Adverfising, and Adverfis- ing Pracfices and Procedures in fheir iunior and senior years. Seniors who have faken Disfribufive Educafion l have been eligible for Disfribufive Educafion Work Experience, where fhe senior sfudenf has fhe opporfu- nify fo leave school for a iob. ln fhis course, sfudenfs receive credifs as well as being paid for fheir work. The business deparfmenf has always been an aid fo help sfudenfs' fufures in fhe pasf and has confinued fo help insure fhaf sfudenfs will suc- ceed in fhe workaday world.
