ational Honor Society 1 W I ra DO A GOOD JOB is the cry of Sister Celestine as M. E. Conway, L. Lupori, D. Frobe, C. Beringer, and C. Hawkins leave for a very important task. They are tutors down at the South Side Brashear! The National Honor Society is now in its third year at St. Michael High School. The object of our chapter here at St. Michaels is the same as other schools, namely, to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in our students. Presently, we have only 10 members and they are all Seniors. SCHOLARSHIP, LEADERSHIP, CHARACTER, AND SERVICE! Shown below are St. Michael's 68-69 National Honor Soci- ety members. They are J. 5? i Ring Day .S l ...J HAPPINESS IS YOUR SENIOR CLASS RING-The proudest pos- session of a Senior is his class ring. I don't think J. Geraci, C. Hawkins, and K. Lozecki would disagree as they show off their rings to Sister Celestine. THEY TAGGED ME! Senior C. Becker is the victim of C. Barrett as he enters the Chinese Hall of Fame and Fortune at the Ring Day Dance. SOLEMN AT LAST-Though you seldom see a senior without a smile Ring Day is one day happiness was felt in the heart and a quiet stillness lingered over the senior classes. JUNIORS SHOW SPIRIT-To add to the joy of Senior Ring Day the church resounded with the angelic voices of the Juniors who were accompanied by Sister Carole and Sister Marie Therese.
