To The Underclassmen, At seventeen we have seen very little of life, but for the most part we have fallen in love with what we have found, except possibly, the curric- ulum. We may feel that a chemistry course is a needless burden since most of us will never become chemists. But, at this stage of our lives, how many of us really know what we want to be? Our lives are our own and we will direct them as we choose. Each of us possesses the virtue of hindsight, unfortunately, few of us can claim fore- sight. Our faculty, using their own hindsight, can recall the results of their own mistakes to advise us, and we, as seniors, can now advise you through our experience. Senior Class Room 203 Freshmen,do not consider high school instant maturity. Maturity comes slowly through willingness to accept others, as well as yourself. Sophomores, even though you are now in the awkward year of high school, do not grow com- placent. Make yourselves felt in the school, not by attracting attention but by meriting recognition. Juniors, when you become the seniors, look forward to your privileges, and also the responsi- bilities of leadership. To the student body, after we have left Saint Michael's, we will reminisce over the good times we had-realizing these were the only times we had. Seniors of 203 --1969

To Saint Michael High School: To our Alma Mater, our nourishing Mother , For this we bless you most, we, your chil- dren whom you have guided to the threshold of Life, you give much and know not that you give at all. You gave of your knowledge, revealing your hopes for us, and together we have formed visions yet to be seen. You have opened the door of the firmament to show us the colors and give us the desires. You have given us a deeper thirsting for Life, Hand surely there is no greater gift than that which turns aims into parching lips and all life into a fountain. Your heartbeats were in our hearts as you bore us and we must never let the tempo escape because it is the rhythm of Tomorrow! Mother, you are alive in us! You will live in our successes as we have grown in your experience. And ever has it been said that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation. Farewell to you and the youth we have spent with you. Our half-walking has turned into fuller day and we must part . . . and of your longing, we have built a tower in the sky.
