6' ZW? School is a preparation for service. After twelve years of such preparation, life actually begins. Rclinquishing our dependence upon our priests, teachers and friends we lay plans for our livcs as young Catholic citizens. We will serve well if we practice what we have been taught-service to God and neighbor. As we leave St. Josephis High we promise to imitate our honored patron. We will use the hammer of initiative and the square of perse- verance and, with the torch of hope burning within us, construct roads to heaven. When despair overshaclows us, we shall re- call the days we spent together and the lesson we learned: Man was made to know, love, and serve God on earth and be happy with Him forever in heaven, With this in mind, we, the Graduates of 1959, present the story of our acceptance of the challenge of SERVICE.
