Full of spirit and perseverance, the junior class of 202 were eager students who were intrigued by the new world of learning they discovered this year. Exploring in unison the mysteries of the chemical world and the mechanical perplexi- ties of the typewriter, they managed to find time to participate vigorously in all school activities. Led by dynamic class officers, the juniors were ready boosters of the 1954 Pendulum and co- sponsored the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas dances held for the benefit of the junior-Senior Prom. Everyone will recall the hilarious moments they provided in the skit pro- duced for the first Pep Rally. We're proud to have known them and we hope that the juniors of 202 become one of the very best senior class- es that ever attended St, Joseph High. unior C4155 Lively and industrious are the two most ap- propriate adjectives to describe the junior class of 102. Already speaking Spanish with accents all their own and taking shorthand with the aplomb of experienced stenographers, they pooled their efforts to become a harmonious unit in whatever they undertook. Blending perfectly in- to the roles of upperclassmen, they were the backbone of the operetta, sharing leads and sup- porting roles in a coalition of talent and hard work. Under the guidance of enthusiastic officers, they helped plan the prom and worked ardently to make it as wonderful as possible. Boosting school morale, they attended both girls' and boys, basketball games and cheered 1u'stily-win or lose. Our hats are off to this plucky group and we wish them the best for 1955!
