Sister eannes Message gto the Graduates . . 'lt is a very great pleasure for me to congratulate the members of the class of l948. You are standing at the end of the twelve year journey, and you gaze out into the great world that lies beyond high school days and wonder what is in store for you in that mysterious future. You cannot draw aside the curtain today and see the life you will live tomorrow, and it is exceedingly fortunate that you cannot, tor that would rob your lite of most of its novelty and charm. It is the uncertainty of life that makes our days interesting and gives a charm to the commonplace things in which most of us are en- gaged. So while we have a longing to get a glimpse at the world be- yond we should be satisfied to have it untold as we proceed on the highway ot lite, ' You have been taught respect and social responsibility. You have learned the honor and humility of honest toil-of a task well' done. You have learned reverence toward and sincerity in the works and teachings at Almighty God.
