Theirs was the peppiest class during the year and, consequently, due to the amount ol' pep and enthusiasm evinced, won the Pep Banner which is annually awarded to the class that shows the most pep. Their projects 'l'or the year were the Junior Prom, which was successful, the annual Junior-Senior pienie, held Friday, May 20, at Jantzen Beach, and the Junior-Senior dinner dance, an innovation in the school where the Juniors furnished the entertainment and dinner. The dinner dance was held on Saturday evening, May 21, with the Juniors and Seniors sitting at tables around a cleared floor space where they danced be- tween eourses to music furnished by the new combined eleetrie radio and vietrola, a gife ol' this years's and next year's Seniors to the school. The officers for the year were: Elvin Erickson, president, Clinton Oliver, vice-president, Elaine Lange, secretary, Joe Ga1'cia, treasurer, and the class advisor, Miss Holloway.
