The junior class having found a staunch, helping friend in Miss Ruzzini, teacher of history, unanimously elected her general chairman of their co-curricular activities. 'lihe Yule Log Ball, held at the William Penn Hotel during the Christmas holidays, was a huge success and rated the class of '47 for having initiated the tradition of a junior prom. The next big event was the hilarious presentation of the junior class play, Beware of fllurder. With the approach of spring, class olicers planned an lfaster dance, Lilac Time, which was held at the Colonial. Social activities were not the only interest of the junior class. 'lihe girls entered wholeheartedly to put over successfully the grand raffle for the huilding fund for the New Saint Benedict's Academy. And just the year is drawing to a close Sister Marcella appointed a temporary staff which edited the juniors' first issue of Benita. VVith these various activities to their credit the class of '-L7 is ready to follow in the footste s of their .
