BOB PRUSTi No comment. PAUL REDLINGERi A baby growing, looking and searching for direction, rooms bulging, new staff who were young and eager, new class offerings. Today, empty rooms, older faces, less enthusiasm, but still a quality program, a real need for more students. DAVE SCHLIEF, A busy, active place. Now it seems much calmer. LLOYD SCHRUM Then - a great place to teach, good students and faculty. Now — Students (some of them) seem to have I don't care attitude, more so than years ago. BILLIE WESTROM: A comfortably small, personal school with high academic standards and an excellent music program. I also found it financially sound with no trouble in getting anything for programs considered educationally sound. The only change I see is in regard to financing. JAMES WILKE: Busy — a much higher activity level at St. Anthony in the past. Today, fewer students with a lower activity level. TOM SANDBERG: No comment. KRIS TRELLES: Two things that impressed me about VHS were that almost everyone turned in their homework on time and almost everyone participated in extra-curricular activities or sports. I have only been teaching here since the 1983-84 school year and not that much has changed since then. TOM YUREK: My first impression was that the school was clean and the kids were well mannered. Not much has really changed — the school is sttl clean and the kids, on the most part, well mannered.

IN MEMORY OF MR. DENNISON 1962-1986 Perhaps the most special quality about Mr. Dennison was his honest appreciation and love for his subject. He was able to teach with the wisdom of his experience and the wonder of a child. He could make the way a spider innately knows how to spin a web sound so intricate and technical, but Ins voice and eyes expressed a sheer wonder that our Creator could have the wisdom to author something so incredible. He seemed to regard Ins students in the same light. We were not simply bodies occupying seats but people .Katie Comer TO OUR TORfcVtR TRIbND We walked beside benevolence. And fell its warm concern. We sat with tomes of knowledge-. How could we help but learn. We talked with wit and character. Our spirits lifted high. We heard a worldly wisdom That time would justify. We watched the steps of courage That faltered and went on. We sensed the pains that dignity Would fight to keep withdrawn. We knew a soul that special His mortal song is stilled. The gold he sprinkled lines our paths His mission is fulfilled. Gwen tvans 15
