BOB PRUSTi No comment. PAUL REDLINGERi A baby growing, looking and searching for direction, rooms bulging, new staff who were young and eager, new class offerings. Today, empty rooms, older faces, less enthusiasm, but still a quality program, a real need for more students. DAVE SCHLIEF, A busy, active place. Now it seems much calmer. LLOYD SCHRUM Then - a great place to teach, good students and faculty. Now — Students (some of them) seem to have I don't care attitude, more so than years ago. BILLIE WESTROM: A comfortably small, personal school with high academic standards and an excellent music program. I also found it financially sound with no trouble in getting anything for programs considered educationally sound. The only change I see is in regard to financing. JAMES WILKE: Busy — a much higher activity level at St. Anthony in the past. Today, fewer students with a lower activity level. TOM SANDBERG: No comment. KRIS TRELLES: Two things that impressed me about VHS were that almost everyone turned in their homework on time and almost everyone participated in extra-curricular activities or sports. I have only been teaching here since the 1983-84 school year and not that much has changed since then. TOM YUREK: My first impression was that the school was clean and the kids were well mannered. Not much has really changed — the school is sttl clean and the kids, on the most part, well mannered.

EllSWROTH LARSON, When I r»« arrived, il WM only a big empty budding- In 36 year It ha become a fine school. KAREN LiESKE. I transferred here from Wtlshire Park Elementary so everyone seemed big and loud. Now it just seems normal. DAVE MELBY. Smal school with a large school curricular and extra-curricular program. It really hasn’t changed that much- ROLLIE NESHEIM, In my first year, construction of the building was not yet completed (an addition was being made). Very crowded condition . Now we have declined in enrolment — less crowding — but super facilities. First impression was, I believe that I'm going to like it BRIAN PASTARR, When I first arrived here. I was fresh from substitute teaching in the Minneapolis Public School where I had become accustomed to locked entry ways and armed guards. When I heard St. Anthony teachers talking of discipine problems. I could only laugh. This new school seemed so lame. JOHN OPSATA, No comment. GARY PALM, The first year I was at St. Anthony I thought it was a good place to teach. I was wrong. People like Don Dennison have made this a great” place to teach. RICHARD PEARL, I thought it was one of the lop high schools in the area, and I stll think it is. RITA PLOTNIK, When I first arrived at VHS. I found many students with divided loyalties because they had recently attended Marshall or U. High, two-thirds of the present school plant was not built, and approximately 25 teachers were on the staff.
