We want to thank our host families, the Wolfs and the Pibals. for their love and understanding and the teachers and kids from St. Anthony High School for letting us stay for one year at their school. We remember this year for its wonderful experiences although there were some hard times. It is fun to see people of a different culture live their everyday lives and it makes us feel good when they are willing to share themselves with us. When we return to our home countries, we will continue our studies at our home schools. We enjoyed our stay here a great deal and want to thank you all again. FARVEL! TSCHUS! CUESTICN WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL? TRACY BALKO: I think the thing I will miss most about high school is my friends and the work program class. BECKY WHEELER: The thing I will miss most is all of the fun times and good friends that I’ve made through the years! MARC BOLLENSEN: I will miss two certain juniors and one certain sophomore who are total maniacs and are the only people I know who can drive a Volkswagen up on the roof during 4th hour and not get caught.” COREY GORDON: The dances. MARK GRUNDMAYER: Goofing around in the graphics room and printing the Focus each week.” JIM ZUMWALT.- I would miss math very much. It helped me to realize that lim (aX:lil=7cd does not exist in the realm of numerical digits and that math is the essence of life in the world as we know it today, tomorrow, and yesteryear. MARK BJER-KEBEK: Hockey games. OUCSTiCN WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE TO UNDERCLASSMEN FOR BETTER HIGH SCHOOL YEARS?” MARY JO YUREK: Just go along with whatever anybody says, even if you know they’re wrong because then things will go easier for you.” JANICE BORYS: Stay cool and try to skip as much as possible without getting caught and have an everlasting party. DAVE ANDERSON: Never bring a live cow into Mr. Rosinski's office. TOM MC MULLEN: Forget about homework and have more fun. I did.” LAURA WORTS: Hang in there for as many years as you have left. Don’t loaf until your senior year. Then do it. Try to stay away from teachers who will give you finals. If you’re going to skip, do it tactfully.” DIANA SZYMANSKI: Get a jobl PAUL NAROG: The best advice to underclassmen is to continually stay active in many activities and strive to learn from them so that you can be a stronger person, and also not to allow peer pressure to bother you. A smile is worth a thousand words. KRIS KOSKI: My advice to underclassmen is not let the teachers and principal get you down. These are supposed to be the best years of your life so don’t let them go by without making it the best. Also graduate! QUESTION IF YOU COULD START HIGH SCHOOL OVER. WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY? JOHN TOMAS: Not come. CHRIS VNAK: Build a bigger, louder, more powerful sound system than anyone in town at an earlier age. Listen to more heavy metal like Iron Maiden. Dio. Judas Priest. Oh yea, and crank those tunes to the limit.” REANA THIBODO.- I would work harder, study more, and be more active in school activities. PAT BLOCK: Do like my boss. Drop out. then go to VoTech and open up a shop like he did.” DALE AHRENS.- Take different classes, have more friends, and find more things to do.” LISA CHRISTOPHERSON I wouldn't worry so much about what other people thought of me, and just be myself instead of trying to do what I thought others would approve or disapprove of. LINH TRAN: If I could start high school over. I would study harder than I study now. I would like to enjoy the school activities just like others do, and if my English were better than now I would like to help other students who need help. MALA UGARGOL: I'd show up for school less often.” KAREN ZIEPER: If I could start high school over, I would make the same friends but only earlier so I would have many more great times like the ones I’ve had.” NIKKI ERPELDING: I would go to London and study abroad. DAN MATTISON: Be more outgoing, party more (although I did my share). 'QUESTION IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT SCHOOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE? PAM STROOM: Less homeworkl” LORI WILSON: Better classmates, more social talk, change the school hours. ORGANIZATIONS 100 Student Council To the right: STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS.
