Jon Royer 1966-1984 Although Jon did not join us until 1980-81. he quickly became an involved member of the Class of 1984. Open and honest, Jon was always ready to help and quick to praise. He loved all sports, particularly football and mountain climbing. Jon was a member of a close and loving family. After his 1982 injury, the entire school as well as friends and neighbors rallied to the family's needs, as Jon always responded to the needs of others. Before the end of his life, he seemed to recognize his many visitors and always did his best to show his thanks. We will always remember Jon. whose presence added so much to the Class of 1984. — Paul Meier
