Open and honest, Jon was always ready to help and quick to praise. He loved all sports, particularly football and mountain climbing. Jon was a member of a close and loving family. After his 1982 injury, the entire school as well as friends and neighbors rallied to the family's needs, as Jon always responded to the needs of others. Before the end of his life, he seemed to recognize his many visitors and always did his best to show his thanks. We will always remember Jon. whose presence added so much to the Class of 1984. — Paul Meier What Does Your Senior Year Mean To You? It means that it's the end of a lot of getting up in the mornings and seeing the same faces, but it also means that we have grown up and passed to start a new life in the world .... My senior year means that I have survived eleven years of school and now it’s time to have fun .... Being rowdy, being cool and most of all GRADUATING FROM SCHOOL! .... My senior year means to me: Trying to have as much fun and memorable times before we all go our own ways-, it means coming together as one class, getting to know each other .... Seniors have fun and learn at the same time .... Senior year is winning Snow Daze (again), sloughing off for the last semester, and having fun .... It is a time to spend wandering through the meadows while the rain lightly cascades down around our feet. We can look back, when we re old. with a tear in our eye and say. Gee. those were the best of times at VHS. .... Time to finish things up and look toward the future — time for memories .... Your last year so let loose and really wrap it up .... I see school as a sanctuary in which I can forget the problems that overwhelm my weekends ... To each senior, the senior year is something different .... The senior year is a time for growing up and going our own spearate ways. The senior year gives some new freedom and many new opportunities. But for some it just means graduation .... I see school as a roadblock to my weekends .... Your senior year is a time to make memories that will last a lifetime .... Our senior year is a happiest and funniest Senior Officers are Amy Getter, presidenti Clem Stovall, treasurer! Jenny Johnson, sec-retaryi Janice Suhr. vice-president. year with a lot of memories, to remember forever .... The senior year is very important because it's my last year and I want to get it over .... A year in my life full of accomplishments and fun. a year which opened many doors of the future, a year full of great parties! The senior year in St. Anthony is the best year of my life. I’m proud to be able to attend such a great school My senior year has been one of many, many colors It is truly satisfying to know that I have completed my senior year so I can now get down to some very serious partying Getting to know each other better and getting ready to say good-bye My last year of high school is a time to start making plans for the future . . Being a senior means believing in your dreams and hoping that every year you come closer to your pot of gold . . . Our senior year is a time for changes and growing up Enjoying the last Q years of school in St. Anthony Detox? What happened to the concert? Too much homework, partying will begin soon, looking forward to college My senior year means having the most fun I can in the least amount of time My senior year means doing things we do not normally do in any other grade, getting to know the people in our grade before we leave, having the best fun we have ever had The best year all around when break dancing caught on strong. And I must confess I made it the best, and now I’m done. 26 Graduation Held June I Christy Timmer. Class of 1984 Salutatorian Heidi Boldt. Class of 1984 Valedictorian Graduation Committee. Some of her hobbies are reading, painting, volleyball, guitar playing, dancing, and collecting post cards. Sylvia was asked; What are the differences between school here and at home? Fler answer: The school here seems a lot easier for me. In my country, high school is really hard. It's like college here. We must take almost 15 different classes. We have 6 years in high school (from age 12 to 18). In the 4th year, we choose between different branches: I) Social. Philosophy. Literature: 2) Math Physics: 3) Chemistry. Biology, 6 Anatomy. That means the ones we choose are the stronger ones, but we still have the other ones. For example, I chose Chemistry. Biology, and Anatomy, but I had Math (Geometry. Trigonometry. Algebra). Physics. Philosophy, Psychology. Literature. History. Geography. Civics, and English (which was required).” Sylvia has three brothers and one sister-, all of them are married. She is the youngest one. We are a very close and happy family. Sylvia concluded. 119 Student Council STUDENT COUNCIL. Sitting: 1st semester advisor Crystal Meriwether. D. Krebs. M. Handberg. D. Wagner. B. Gabler. P.
