YOUTH MARCI-IES ONWARD With uplifted head and eager glance the Seniors of 1941 go forth to meet the future with the same measure of intrepidity shown by the boys and girls of Am rica for the past twenty odd years Youth knows that only through her can a country hooe to p osper and progress for on the youth of a country are based all its hopes and areams all its greatness or its shame all its years cf haopine s or its years of woe Realizing then that there is a niche for each individual to fill the cour ageous youthful Q n o s of 4l march eagerly onward to take the r places in this compli ated mas called Life True all will not reach the same heights to greater heights while the privileged few will gain the top most step the highest pinnacle lt matters not however how far we climb but it matters a lot how we do the climbing lf we put forth our best effort if we try to live according to our teachings if we sincerely take for our guiding light the Com mandments of God and His Church th n whether we succeed or fail Victory shall be ours We must not forget that as soon as we pass through the doors of our Alma Mater and assume our share of the burdens of the world we are no longer going to be dependent on our teachers either for knowledge or guidance We shall be our own Masters and Mrstresses our own Pilots and our own Crews Our future achievements whether praiseworthy or blameworthy will to a certain extent bring pra se or blame on our school The many counsels of our teachers will often re echo in our ears and we can always find solace in the thought that their well wishes ride our individual pathways So with these thoughts in mind we the Youth of the greatest Country in the world America march outward and onward leaving behind those who shall take up where we left off and so on down through the years until the day comes wh n Youth seeing us faint with the strife will take the torch from our palsied hands and carry on on ever onward Billy I Kmccmnon Six . l K H , V M F , - - 1 .
