B.A., M.A FOREIGN LANGUAGE Hola and bon jour from the St. Alphonsus foreign Language Department, it is one of the finest. Mile Rheault and Senora Stepien are in their forth year with Mme. Labafinejad in her second year and Senora Budd, who was a resident of Cuba, in her first year. A major highlight for the department and the students is the arrival of foreign language week. This time allows for a sort of brief relation from studies. It is also a time of culture studies in more detail. 25

BUSINESS Our Business Department’s main goal is to educate their students about the numerous opportunities and careers available in the business world. Ms. DeSantis and Mr. Keller teach students vital knowledge and skills in courses such as accounting, record keeping, word processing, short- hand and personal typing. The Business Department is designed to incorporate the knowledge and skills learned into everyday living.
