This year’s musical. “Mame.,f made many remember the glorious days of the “roaring twenties ”. Scenes of flappers, speakeasies, southern bells and many others made each and every member of the audience feel a part of the show. Flappers and gangsters were a common sight in the show, enjoying a dance in a speakeasy. At one point, the gym represented a southern plantation filled with the sounds of southern charm and hospitality. Many of the kids in the show forgot their roles as high school students and represented different characters expressing great acting abilities. By the finale. Mame had charmed her way into the hearts of all watching the show. Many hard hours of practice during the week, at night and on the weekends proved to be worthwhile. The cast created a show too exciting and enjoyable to forget. They put forth great effort in making the audience forget their troubles for a couple hours and be lost in a wonderful musical. Many thanks go to Mr. and Mrs. Maci, Mr. Dixon. Ms. van Valzah. Mr. Marusich. and Mr. Sergus for their hard work and dedication. Also, thanks go to all those who worked behind the scenes to get the show ready for performance. With all the sources combined, it was one memorable musical not easy to forget!!!! 21
