When Dreams Become Reality In a style befitting King Arthur himself. Homecoming ' 7S proved to be an unforgettable evening. The week preceding the big day. fire-up week, was a source of amusement for all with hat day. shoe day. button day. stomp-em day. and finally fire-up day. At the pep rally, a roar of enthusiasm followed the appearance of a fire engine carrying the Varsity Cheerleaders. The following day. October 'yA, with spirit abounding, the parade got off the ground at the Schaefer Building with the band in the lead, followed by the honor guards and then the Queen's float. Gracing this year’s float was the Queen. Paula Fusco, and her court, comprised of Oonna LeDuc. Jenny Jarrell. Veronica Brostowski, and Vickie Wisniewski. This year the Juniors won the float trophy with the fiery motto. The Arrow’s Are Oregon The Pioneers Behind.” At 7:30 that evening, the dance. entitled 'CAMELOT. started and proved to be a success. With the gym decorated knights-of-old style, a fitting mood was created. Each class had its own flag, and different comers of the gym were decorated with knights, a balcony, a Shrine to Mary and an Enchanted Garden. At the close of the evening Paula was crowned by Father Quane and then she and Mark Perry started the traditional Queen’s Dance.
