Renewing old acquaintances, making new friends and comparing books make the opening day of school a new yet familiar experience. The adding machine helps Dan Rogowski review his arithmetic by totaling the prices of supplies. A week later, a familiar scene is in evidence when students talk, walk and laugh together during the noon hour. Anxious to get back into the swing of things. Student Council members begin their work early by directing students to their new classrooms. Eager to discover in whose homeroom they will be, Marilynn Smith, Judy Ruszkiewicz, Marge Moryc and Peggy Stump crowd around Jim Stimach and his list. Catching up on all the summer gossip, Diane Michalak captures the interest of seniors Sharon Seymour, Marcella Dynda, Marian Grzybek, Helene Pustula, Pat Wisocki (in back), Karon Pierson and Arlene Blasko as she recounts an interesting experience. And he said . . Not really! Darlene Piotrowski can't seem to have her say as Sandra Sartor and Barbara Trudell recall vaca- tion fun.
