Ac- tivity has been the source and basis for all future accomplishments; as the spotlight of learning is focused on past and present achievements, we realize how essential this energy of action is to the attainment of our spiritual destination. As the Arrow of 1960 briefly reviews the sum total of all our academic, social and athletic en- deavors, it will simultaneously attempt to highlight these activities. This, then, becomes the theme of the 1960 yearbook, Our School in Focus. 2

Student Council members begin their work early by directing students to their new classrooms. Eager to discover in whose homeroom they will be, Marilynn Smith, Judy Ruszkiewicz, Marge Moryc and Peggy Stump crowd around Jim Stimach and his list. Catching up on all the summer gossip, Diane Michalak captures the interest of seniors Sharon Seymour, Marcella Dynda, Marian Grzybek, Helene Pustula, Pat Wisocki (in back), Karon Pierson and Arlene Blasko as she recounts an interesting experience.
