 Sister Jean Marie, O.P. Principal Highlights in focus are the classes and organizations which provide the essential atmosphere of student life. Offering an opportunity to share in this experience and aiding us in pur quest for truth, Sister Jean Marie, O.P., principal, plays a major part in every activity at St. Alphonsus. In this volume of the Arrow we pay special tribute to her for making our sixth yearbook possible. Science Offers Opportunities For Analysis, Investigation Students of general science Suzanne Harland, Paul Brege, and Glenn Korzyn demonstrate a process of generating hydrogen by adding magnesium to boiling water. Converting book knowledge into practical use by experimentation in the chemistry laboratory, John Cavanaugh, Don Pocock and Frank Franchi distill water while Marilynn Ostrowski records the necessary data.
