THE ARROW 1959 Presented by the Students of St. Alphonsus High School Dearborn, Michigan Memories . . . As an unusual painting or an enjoyable book provides the basis for friendly discussion, the memories of our four years at Saint Alphonsus furnish the students with a myriad of conversation pieces. A chance re- mark, a familiar face, a favorite teacher will recall the days that we spent as bewildered freshmen or proud seniors. In the ARROW of 1959, we have recorded the best of our group memories. However, these are but symbols of the most important, the indefinable spirit of Saint Alphonsus that will remain forever in our hearts. Graduation Activities The traditional Senior Ring Day breakfast is given by the Sophomores. V Climax Memories Today’s graduates are entering an exciting new era where they will live better electrically in every way ... at home, at work, or at play. For example, if you choose marriage, you can enjoy an all-electric home. Included will be electric heat, built-in electric range and refrigerator and a host of time-saving, economical electric appliances. They will be the ultimate in modern living comfort and convenience. Or, if you go into business, efficient electrically operated machines will assist you in getting the job done swiftly and easily—again an illustration of the versatility and dependability of electricity. Or, if you go on to college, perhaps you will become one of the scientists or technicians who help further mold the all-electric world of the future. No matter which path you may choose, electricity will be there to lighten your load, brighten your way ... help you live better... electrically.
