The team went down fighting in four games, losing each by less than a touchdown. Comments at the season's end were that next year the Mus- tangs will have some JV's coming up and should stand a better chance against the more powerful teams. This yea1 s LV. football team, coached by Mr. Gose and Mr. Christensen, managed to gain victories in about half the games they played. Small, but fast, the team showed the spirit and ability needed for a winning football team. Under the leadership of captains Javier Blanco and Jay Elam, the team showed great improvement over last year's record and promises a fine season next year.
