Directors Run the Show Finishing his second year at Saguaro, Mr. Robert Hendricks improved the school in many ways. One of his main projects was build- ing the oudoor locker compounds so that the student lockers were more accessable. He said the locker project was long overdue. The old locker area in the 300 building will be a new math resource center as well as four new math classrooms. The other space in the 100 building is used for the English department and learning center. The school also changed academi- cally. An example of this was the Ari- zona Cup Award that the school received in honor of our 1979 seniors. The award was given by the University of Arizona to the one high school in the state which claimed a group of 30 or more students that achieved the highest scholarship during their first year at the university. This year Saguaro was represented by 49 graduates in the freshmen class. Their combined grade average was 2.751. The top six Saguaro students averaged 3.4. QHHPXHQ ' ,,,, ,MWF
