dmlwnwy Name: Charles Dickey Rank: First string offensive guard and defensive end Numbers: 63 - 6'2 - 210 pounds Charlie Dickey has played football since the age of 7 when he first played Pop Wamer. He's played the offensive position ever since then and he began defensive positions as a freshman. ' Charlie is proud of the Saguaro football team. We could have gone farther fstanding wise, if we had gotten a few things together, he said. His past year's experience have obviously paid off in, not only honors, but in good playing habits. This yea he placed on the All-State Team, All-League Team and the All-City Team in the North East District. On all those teams he has played first string guard. After high school he plans to go to one of the community colleges on a scholarship but hopes to improve ' even more to get a scholarship to one of the major universities. Mwldlevalladwws I'm a people person. I like working and being with people and l'd like to help them, exclaimed a very energetic Michelle Valladares. , Michelle is indeed a people person and her involvernzent in Saguaro proves it. -2 She is now president of NHS and is on the Student Council where she is active in the Public Relations Department. A larger part of her' future career is in the field of medicine. She chose medicine because she loves biology and is interested 'in a science that not only helps people but works with them. Michelle is currently secretary of the Future Medical Students at Saguaro. She is also a volunteer in the Surgery Wing of Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. It's a great insight into the field of medicine. 0
