The 1981 girls' track team con- sisted of 20 girls coached by Roger Stevens. Adrian Decker threw the shot- put, and Iennifer Boley was the high-jumper for the year. Young Team Shows Potential The Saguaro boys' track team was a young one this year. Coach Ken Hawk said, lt is a very young team but has potential if they work hard. Some of the stronger members were senior Dan Doffing and junior Kirk McCune in theA400-meter and 800- meter run. junior Torn Dugao looked increasingly well in the 1500-meter and 3000-meter. In the shot and discus, Dave Starky, senior, and Cary Cagle, freshman excelled. Kevin Pearson, junior, per- formed well in the sprints. 1. Bob Ryan approaches the' jump. 2.
