The Walter C. Averill Career Opportunity Center, better known as the COC, added six new classes this year to go along with the many vocational skill areas it already of- fered. Among some of these classes were Aeronautics, Travel Industry Assistant, Used Car Contitioning, Motor Cycle Repair, Automobile Interiors and Radio Television. Students from Saginaw High rode buses twice a day to attend classes in the center either in the morning or in the afternoon. The emphasis was on learning skills which could be turned into jobs after graduation. Want to be a pilot? . .. How about an auto mechanic?? or a broadcaster?? The COC may be for you.
