Mr. Ekelof happily pins the 25-Year Club award on Mr. Clifford Monson for his service at Saginaw High for 25 years. Mr. Monson currently is teaching drafting in room 157. Right: Honored guests and faculty members listen to Mr. Sherman’s after-dinner delivery in honor of Mr. Tibbet’s award. 12 25-YEAR CLUB INITIATES TWO NEW MEMBERS 3 Past Faculty Members Honored By Room Dedication Three rooms at Saginaw High, named after former SHS teachers, were awarded gold inscribed plaques during the annual 25-Year Club dinner at semester break. Room 258 will now be called the E. A. Cluts Bookkeeping Room after the late bookkeeping teacher and school accountant. The Jane McKay Paine English Room, room 266, was named in honor of the former English teacher and close friend of Miss Hetherington. Mr. Uribe’s room (166) will now be called the Helene Newman Foreign Languages Room after one of Saginaw High’s early foreign language teachers. The dedication of rooms with plaques named after former Saginaw High teachers has been a tradition since the opening of this building in 1953.
