The concert and mar- ching bands, as directed by james Dye, lend many a musical note instr- umentally to the music program as does Miss Billie joy Alexander and her expanding orchestra. These three instrumental organizations provide musival entertainment from the fall football season through the winter - spring concert work. Laundry, mostly towels used in the athletic pro- gram, is piled high each morning. Those modern machines take the work out of clothes cleaning. MPS. JOSEPHINE STONE C gf ,Z E 5 Cafeteria Manager Many hours are spent in the aim of cleanliness and convenience at Saginaw High. The many tedious but necessary duties of custodians, cafeteria per- sonnel, maintenance crew, and operation people keep these people behind the scenes in various stages of confusion. The students appreciate the time spent irukeeping the building tidied. The exciting aromas escaping the cafeteria kitchen tell us the cooks are on the job. These and all other tasks done behind the scenes help make a school like ours run smoothly. Mrs. Thelma Coggin, Mrs. Marie Demers, in front of table, and Mrs. Velma Schafer, Mrs. Myrtle Hines, and Mrs. Elizabeth Paquette prepare their specialties for the day's food line.
