By offering home training courses, Sag- inaw High's home economics program com- pletes its objective of providing students with an adequate background or their roles in the home or in the professional field. Training in food preparation, sew- ing, and Red Cross home nursing are among various activities carried out in the department. When, as they walk through the halls, students inhale the tantalizing aromas of steak, rolls, or some other ap- petizing dish, they can be sure that the home economics students are learning well. l -. 5 ww' , A Girls learn the useful art of making their own clothing in the clothing department of home CC.
