the student lantern Commendations are due every staff member for well-written news stories, sprightly features, and vigorous editorials, Dr. Laurence Camp- hell, critic judge, declared in announcing that Saginaw's Sfmlurt Iazzzlerrz had copped Quill LQ Scrolls International Honor ranking for the sixth consecutive year, September I7. Scoring a total of 906 out of a maximum 1,000 points, it also snagged the A for achieve- ment under the leadership of Peggy Deisig, editor-in-chief, and Pat Elliott, business man- ager. Only I7 points separated it from a perfect rating in influencing readers and entertain- ing readersu divisions.
