Randall placed as the firsr runnereup. ln rhe Junior Miss Graharh County pageant, Jennifer Jacobson wan the cornperirion and Shanna Henager carne in as first runner- up. ln Pasadena, California, ar the Tournarnenr of Roses, Arizona was privileged to watch as the Arizona State Sundevils fools on the Michigan Wolverines for the victory. The University of Arizona Wildcats were also victorious over North Carolina in the Aloha Bowl which was held in l-lawaii. There were some changes in Safford High projecf was well underway and the new faciliries are proiecred ro be opened by next year if all goes well. The narnes of the new teachers are Joe Hughes, a junior, left in January ro visir New Zealand as parr of a srudenr foreign exchange program.
