I, Ted Harris, will my musical genius and Atlas physique to Norman Jensen. Reva McBride leaves her carrot-top, dancing ability. and many boy friends to Lorraine Owens with the wish that she take good care of them, especially the latter. I, Clarice Maloy, give my babyish ways and innocent outlook on life to Joyce Baker. I, Betty Baker, will my cornflower blue eyes and sincere devotion to my one and only to Virginia Brooks. Graham French wills the responsibility of student body prexy and fond memories of a tennis tournament in Duncan to anyone who is brave enough to' accept them both. Arturo Bertoldo wills his best regards to Beatrice Montez. I, Mildred Smith, will my engagement ring and one of my dad's cows to Nan Leming. I, Nick Gardia, leave a package of Camels and those good times at Whoopee Hall to Oscar Bennett. Roy Jacobson leaves his tremendous appetite, dancing ability, and liking for cigars to Lester Owens. I, Gordon Scarlett, will one hat and my quiet understanding ways to Billy Rhoads, who could use a little of the latter. Mary Jean Kennedy leaves her turkey strut and striking profile to Shirley Hockman in hopes it will help her get as far socially as it has Kennedy. I, Herbert Skinner, bequeath my books and ability to Hunk out of classes to Harold Reedy. Della Rogers leaves her schoolgirl complexion and her tranquil outlook to Betty Mae Lee. I, Norman Johnston, leave my reserved corner in the pool hall, otherwise known as the office, to David Bellman. Norman Bingham has given Reid Woodford, who's no dud himself, his classy wardrobe and sheikish tendencies. Caroline Van Order wills her shiny black hair and graceful height to Ellen Morris. I. Joseph Bennett. leave my Chevrolet and soft blue eyes to Louie Michelena. Lavon Blake leaves his technique with eighth graders and his ability at tennis to Clayton Hakes. Helen Wackerbarth Wills her tennis racket to Kathleen Greenhaw, but takes Tink along to keep her company. I, Lorraine Richardson, will my poetry reading ability and poise to Freda Wanslee. I, Wallace Hitt, leave my scientific mind and ability to ride a bicycle to Bernard Clawson. Myrtle Hancock wills her Scarlett O'Hara ways to Nadine Simmons with the fond hope that she make good use of them. Alene Johns Lunt wills her ability to get her man and hold him to Lucille Roper. CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of 1940, wishing to keep our individual and VERY important traits in S. H. S., do hereby pronounce this to be our last will and testament. I, Curtis Ligon, leave my Sing Sing haircut and animal imitations, along with my practical jokes, to Carl Schroeder. I, Tommy Blake. will my motor-bike and socialistic viewpoints to anyone who can convince Mr. Motes he's wrong. Dora Kirkham has generously left Coralie Mulleneaux her page boy bob and sunny smile, I, Virgil Hatch, have decided to leave my meek and quiet ways to Leo Phegley in hopes he can use them to an advantage. Jean Crandall has kindly bestowed on Cynthia Williams her dramatic abil- ity, short skirts and cheerful disposition. Spencer Hoopes wills his ability to get to school on time, and Larue to Bob Stewart who seems only too willing. I, Irving Plotkin. leave my outstanding chemistry ability to Walter Mann fwho needs itj. Sammy Foote has honered a curly-headed freshman with his high I. and his Casanova characteristics, hoping he does better with the latter than Sam has done. How about it, Kay? I, Myron Kisselburg, leave my woman-hating tendencies and cynical out- look to Harry Firth. I, Margie Taylor, take Vernon with me for safe keeping, but am leaving my ability to hold my man to Edythe Tanner. Kay Despain bestows on Toughy Dillman his Latin sideburns and muscle- bound carriage, adding that those sideburns are a help with the senoritas. I, Melvin Powell, leave my rosy, glowing complexion and jitterbug ability to Benny Greenhaw, who needs them both. Sarah Mae Clifford wills her ballroom grace and tiny stature to Mary Lance in hopes it will procure for her a blond boyfriend. J. W. Steurmer wills his excess weight and astounding driving ability to Charlie Guinn. adding that he might take care of Beth on the side. Spencer Morris, leaves one plaid shirt, his thrilling voice, and his ways with the Thatcher women to Max Hundley with the fond wish that he is able to do as well with all of them as he has done. I, Hugh Morris, leave my hearty laugh and sense of humor to Lloyd Moeller with the hope that they will make him happy. I, Betty Anderson, will my boyish bob and reserved manner to Madeline Talley. I, Julia Nulton, will my quiet ways and method of keeping a boy friend to Jean Hansen. Marsha Mae Root has given her small size and her giggle to Marjorie Merrill. Ivanelle Lance leaves Harry and her proficiency in typing to Rae Annette Morris. I, Teresa Guitterez, will my tennis playing and small waist line to anyone who needs them. Velate Barney wills her charm and quiet voice to Joy Crandall. Eugene Hofiield and Earl Price leave one CCC truck and their good looks to Jack and Jerry Tidwell. I, Ruth Richmond, have left my Ft. Thomas boy friend and one pair of Levi's to Emma Joy Johnson. I, Harold Merrill, will a dozen doughnuts to Luther Gardner, and some nice jokes along with them, because Lute has proven his liking for both. Cherrill Brown leaves her impulsive ways and oversized understanding to Margaret Sherman. I, Arthur Todd, leave my girlish figure, appetite and industrious ways to Allen Tanner. Gilbert Wheelock bequeaths his salesman face and wry humor to Max Bell, otherwise known as Edward I, Arthur Carrell, leave my athletic ability and freckles to Gordon Blake. I, Vernon Jensen, leave fond memories of the English X class to Miss Handley. Marjorie Fuller bestows her S75 evening dress and her romance-inspiring ways with the men to Joyce Allyn who wants them both. I, Dorothy Layton, leave my homemaking tendencies and sweet disposi- tion to Pat Anthony. Walter Rogge bequeaths his manly physique and curly locks to Bill Dendy, and suggests he take care of Marian next year. Lenna Phegley leaves her curly locks and quiet, lady-like ways to Larue Merrill. I, Ordell Larson, leave one whiskey bottle and fond memories of that trip to Miami to my good friend Ned Nelson. Norma Barney leaves her matronly figure to Lorrine Allred. Wilma Curry wills her step-'n'-fetchit pace and one CCC boy friend to Christine Toliver. Lucille Nash leaves the Tidwell twins and her low, romantic voice in the capable hands of her little sister Marjorie. I, Terrell Blake. will my sunny personality and shady jokes, along with Betty Jo, all to Kemp Motes. Fred Thomas wills his loud mouth and trouble-making abilities to Phil Mitchell. Merna Layton wills her vertical lines and lovey-dovey ways to Florence Mitchell.
