Minds at Work Believe it or not, students in the ELP classes really work. This year the sixth graders learned how to be great detectives, and discovered the mysterious world of Science Fiction. Seventh graders became expert computer programmers. With the experience and knowledge they gained this year, it will undoubtedly be beneficial for the future. Our eighth graders experienced everything from participating in a dig, to making their own films. Many of these students represented SHMS in the Science Fair, Economics Bowl, and Math competitions. Students not only learn the basics in the language, but they also learn about the way of life among Spanish and French speaking peoples.
