Dancing In The Moonlight The Class of '75 really put everything together last spring and presented a very beautiful Prom for the Seniors. Decorations were made at the various parties held by class members and on May 17 quite a group of people got together and put the last finishing touches on everything. The next morning the Juniors headed for the Country Villa in Edinboro with loaded trucks and cars to set up for the evening to come. The theme. Dancing in the Moonlight, was highlighted by a park scene, which included a gazebo, a running fountain, and numerous yellow rose bushes with park benches backed by a large colorful mural. As each couple entered, they were greeted by the prom aides, who relieved the girls of their wraps and presented them with a long stem yellow rose and a memory book. Various refreshments were served by the prom aides, (Judy Reichel, Roy Campbell, Valerie Ferry, John Hassinger, Karen Bahurinsky, and Ed Manross). The music by Sagonoff was well liked and made the evening a success. The climax came when Gary Smock and Cheryl Vuksan were chosen as King and Queen of the 1974 Junior-Senior Prom. Cheryl was crowned by class President, Jeff Vuksan, and a bouquet of yellow roses were presented to her by the class Secretary, Nancy Humes. As a whole, Saturday evening of May eighteenth, nineteen hundred seventy-four, was a tremendous night which will not soon be forgotton. 23
