Hui Ano Maoli officers are: President, Elizabeih Chong: Vice-President Cara Lane: Secreiary, Judy Pressuiiig Treasurer, Marvis Barboza. HUI ANO BIAOLI For the many lovers of nature SHA has its own nature club better known as the Hui Ano Nlaoli or the Biology Club. Composed of sophomore academic stu- dents, this organization is now in its eleventh year. Our young biologists experienced an especially eventful year. With growing interest they watched the remodelling of their biology laboratory and in Octo- ber they were the proud hostesses of an open house for the rest of the high school. They felt justifiably proud of their newly painted walls, attractive displays, and interesting exhibits. During the year. these sophies undertook various projects of biological interest-scientihc discussions. frequent excursions, and the preparation of eye- catching rock gardens for the fair. Because of the challenging problems and the many experiments. there's never a dull moment during Biology period. This is one subject the sophomores really take to mindf' Elizabeth Chong and Grace Tom sfudying fhe cross section of a stem. 0 ,,,, ,
