Alon with nz .Yon JANUARY The Student Body shares in the frolie of Mozart's Bicentennial cele- bration held here in school. A short informal assembly features a few of Mozart's renowned ieces. P It's r.1ining,it's pouring. . . The Christmas holidays have come and gone, but the rain is still here! Y A sigh of relief is heard on Campus when last exams are over. XYf'e certainly take a breather WNY! A. , - after that! ! ! The PEPS defeat the AMAZONS and win the Championship in intramural volleyball league. Birthday greetings are bestowed on Reverend Mother with beautiful red roses and a spiritual bouquet. Wfork on our new altar continues. It will in- deed be beautiful when completed! Results of mid-terms are released. Many are elated-some few seem a bit deflated! Mercedes Canubida points out important sechons of our Consfifuiion as Barbara Robello lefi' and Lorraine Molina ighi' sfandingl wiih E5-ther Turgueza Josephina Domingo and Joyce Okumura sealed. Looks like the Scouts are having fun wifh their craffs.

Along with Ll Son FEBRUARY A surprise party for our Baby Editorv is held for her birth- day. Cake and ice cream are enjoyed by the staff. Happy Birth- day, Irmina! The 4th Annual Business Convention is held at St. Louis. All Catholic High School Senior Commercial students attend this informative and entertaining program. To conclude the pro- gram, a dance is held at the St. Louis Alumni Clubhouse. An informal assembly concerning vocations is held for juniors and seniors. Reverend Mother Mary Gertrude clearly enlightens us on the facts of religious life-very interesting indeed, and of course, very, very inspiring. Many of the Senior Academics go up to the University of Hawaii to take the Entrance Exam. Didn't know life could be so rough, did you? The SHA Alumnae holds a brunch at the Princess Kaiulani Hotel. Many seniors attend as prospective members. Fine food and wonderful entertainment are enjoyed by all. Leigh Ann Howell, the baby bandleader at the Recital held in honor ot Moxart, proudly displays her very pretty costume.
