Along with a Song DECEMBER At last! Y ! The Hawaiian Club finally elects its otticers. Presi- dent, Danielle Anahug Vice-President, Aulike Ranking Secre- tary, Doris Souierag Treasurer, Kaui Tiltong Glee Club Director, Katherine Pag Marshal, jean Robello. The Scouts busily fix-up a few gift boxes for families less fortunate than themselves. Hawaiian songs and dances are eagerly anticipated by many members of the Hawaiian Club in preparation for .1 pageant honoring the officers of the Jeanne D'Are. Because rain spoiled the vandas on the Big Island, fiber leis are hurriedly sewn the night before the pageant. The ship's oiticers are enthusiastic about the reception and pageant. Congratulations, SHA'ers-you did a fine job, they will not soon forget SHA's Hawaiian hospitality. A number of the girls are guests at the reception held on A tense moment in e volleyball game. Our guests from the Jeanne d'Arc enioy a bit of old Hawaii. The officers and cadets ot the cruiser Jeanne d'Arc enter SHA's own outdoor theater. II2

board the .Ieanne D'Are the night before it sails. Lots of fun and lasting memories are imprinted on the minds of those attending. Christmas in the air . . . The rainy season gives us that feeling that Christmas is right around the corner. Girls dress up their ties with little ornaments. hits of hollv, and tinv hows. Ah yes! They even have bells on their shoes and socks. The altar is pushed up front in our chapel while alterations are made for the new altar. Close competitors in our intramural volleyball league are the PEPS and the AMAZONS. Hay the hetter team be victorious in the championship game. Tuberculosis seals are sold in each high school classroom while Holy Childhood seals are purchased in the grammar grade classes. The generosity of the SllA'ers is as bright as ever. A Christmas tableau and a visit from good old Saint Niels, is the cue that our long-awaited Christmas vacation is here. We wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and a most prosperous New Year! !
