Mass is celebrated on All Souls llav in our chapel. l'e1'vent prayers ascend for the relief of the suflering souls in Purgatory. The SH Legion holds its reception on liirst lfridav. Many new Legionaires are received into this wonderful association. Catholic Youth Xlfeels closes with an informal dance and .1 talent contest held at the St. Louis Alumni Clubhouse. Sl-IA,s entry in the talent part of the program wallss orl' with the hrst prize. Preparations for Reverend Nlother's least dav get underway. Many ofthe girls practice for the presentation of Our Ladv of l5atiina. W'e thank Mrs. Alice Kalahui for the splendid workshop of games and dances she conducted for the senior scouts. The Seniors don black and white saddle oxfords for their first Forum. The topic of discussion: Pros and Cons of Catholic and Secular Colleges. Anyone brave enough to step into the Scout room these pre- fair days is bound to get caught with a job or two. liven the Benediclion of lhe Mosl Blessed Sacramenl eller The Legion receplion. The lfair proves to be most successful. All the booths have their fair share of customers, but the Bar-B-Q booth eorrals most of 'em. Drooping eyes, bobbin' heads, stuffed tummies-this and still .1 lot more, show us that the Fair was tremendous! Thanksgiving holidays come just in time for SHA'ers, but the Audion staff comes to work bright and early on Friday and Saturday mornings. Our bonnie lassies, Wgliida Kahale, lflaine Derby, Mary Louise Joseph, Mary Brown, Joan Franca, and Mildred Calistro, take Hrst place at the talent show, for their lovely rendition of Song of Tndiaf, The newly chosen sponsors go up to St. Louis for a formal introduction to their oiiicers.
