Consequently, these privileged young ladies have received a deeper understanding ofthe duties of a Christian citizen, developed a stronger bond of affection for her neighbor, and fully realized that the Flag is dependent on the Cross. This realization is openly manifested at the annual Scout Rally which begins with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, continues with a birthday celebration and distribution of awards, and ends with the investiture ceremony, the Consecration to Our Blessed lVlother, and the Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
