What joy! for we are now accorded the chance to see our militant sponsors in their colorful uniforms participating in the first ROTC REVIEW. Congratulations to Mary Jane llaguay who was awarded the second prize in the CYO 5tatehood for Hawaiil' Contest. Congratulations also to those who re- ceived Honorable Mention: ,loana Lum. Vivian Silva. and Blanche Denton. The Girl Scouts have suddenly gone snail-crazy. Oh no, they're not for chowder! The Mgreen soldiersn spend the day at Paewalani. helping the Community and the Sisters by attempting to rid the premises of the destructive African Snailsfi The Seniors of Troop 53 also enjoy themselves by playing hostesses to the younger Scouts and supply all the goorlies. Congratulations to Mary Ann Silva and Irmina Farm who won First and Second Prize. respectively. in the Christmas Program ticket selling contest. The Student Body helps Reverend Mother Marie Gertrude celebrate her birthday by sending her prayerful wishes and beautiful flowers.
