E 'S 9511 ' ' Seniors fall victims to the Sophies. Oh well- Sporting snappy red and blue uniforms, sponsors march with exact military pre- cision, in Armistice Day parade. No school Snatch. Seniors lose again to Juniors. Practice makes perfect, girls. Election of Freshman Class officers opens first day of Aloha week at S. H. A. Kamaainas and malihinis alike don color- ful Hawaiian attireg muumus, Aloha shirts, gay hibiscus, and-bright smiles. Report cards make second appearance in school year, but all sighs of joy or regret are drowned by the singing Seniors,', who display unusual talent in voice harmoniz- ing. Auwe! Hui Na Wahine Opio stages a grand muumu contest. Wahine contestants en- ter in old and modern versions of this Hawaiian costume. Congratulations to the winners: June Akiona, Sally Lou Fraga, and Gwen Kauhane. Good Mother's Day. S. H. Freshies lose to their initiators but prove too powerful for the Seniors. That puts the Seniors in the cellar, doesn't it?,' Seniors say- Wait 'til basketball season comes- we'll get out of that cellar fastf, 'Thanksgiving Day finds students with a lot to be thankful for. We did it before and we can do it again! That's what the Sophs said when they bagged the Intramural Volleyball cham- pionship after defeating the juniors. Medals were received by the 'champs' to help them remember the event. CAS though they'd ever forget it! The second year in a row! A. and St. Patrick Girl Scouts hold rally all their own. Holy Mass, Holy Communion, breakfast in the dining room, Solemn Investiture Ceremony conducted by our Diocesan Scout Director, Rev. Father Anselm Gouveia, picnic lunch, and an informal folk dance program are all in the day's agenda. Hut, two, three, fourln Sounds such as these echoed from all corners of the cam- pus when fourteen Juniors and Seniors join the military ranks as sponsors in S. L. Cfs ROTC unit. The class of 'SO emerge twice as victors- first over the Seniors and then over the Freshies. Busy looks indicated that the first Good- Mother's Day program to be held at S. H. A. was going to be one long-talked-of in the annals of campus gossip.

An- other holiday. December exams fail to daunt the Christmas spirit of the High School students. Moths, roaches, cobwebs get the brush-off when brigades of brooms and dusters come sweeping down in the annual Christmas cleaning.
