It is a great tribute to the deep faith of a young Catholic man to say that his most im- portant quest is the discovery of God's will. This discovery is the basic need of every per- son. The seminarian uses the means available fprayer, thought and counseleto come to this knowledge. He has already answered the first of what is really two vocations. He enters the seminary to try himself and find out about his second vocation, which is to remain and become a priest. The seminary then is truly a testing ground for a young man, a place where he shares his common vocation with others seeking the fulfillment of their second and final vocation, to go to the altar of God.
