The theme of our 1962 VIKING is SPOTLIGHTS. The events of our year 61-'62 will stand out as SPOTLIGHTS through the coming years. The dances, football and basketball games, music events, and club meetings are bright spots that have brought to us many happy memories. These memories consti- tute a world of gay activities, competent teachers, and most of all, lasting friendships. The highlight of the Seniors' year was commencement. We hope they will be SPOTLIGHTS for others out of school life and in the future. The job of the Annual Staff is a tough one. Their purpose is to make a record of the year's events. This must be done to make the year significant to the student body—especially the Seniors.
