senior class play The senior class presented the play, Almost Summer , a comedy in three acts on Friday evening, April 27, 1956. It was a big hit as it portray- ed the everyday life of a high school boy, Jerry Hoff, cramming for a big test. He gets in trouble in school as his friend, Eddie Heggerston, leaves his flashlight in the princi- pals office while looking for a copy to the examine. Jerry's parents, Otis Odegard and Paula Dybsand, are very disturbed over the situation as the principal, Donnie Dahlager, comes to speak to them about it. Jerry's si6ter, Phyllis Sunvold, who goes with Jack and Jacquie Leuk, Jerry's girlfriend, help the boys out by giving them moral support. Mean- while Jerry's younger brother, Dick Deason, who supposedly hates women, is carrying on a love affair with Gleva Johnson. Shirley Nelson plays the maid who is very discussed with men. Everything turns out for the best as the play is brought to an end. Mr. John Isaak wa6 director with Dianne Skrukrud as student director. Sheldon Wickstrom served as sound effects man. Ushers were Marlys Sagness, Faye Hubert, Geneva Olson, and Mary Lou Baguas. Mr. Sraudgely and Anna. The Jones family Junior, Mr. Jones, Paul Mary, and Mrs. Jones. Jack and Jane. 14
