With their more than adequate record, the SHM ra- queteers finished a strong third place overall in the conference tournament. The total success of the season continued with the tal- ented doubles' team of Elaine Kos- topulos and Debbie Guenther. These two unique individuals qualified for the state tournament and even moved into the cancella- tion round. scoring three points for SHM. The attitude of the entire team was one of pure determina- W tion, producing a very competitive l got it! team. Next year, perhaps, will in- troduce an even stronger team. WL 96 The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team had a very successful season, beating top competitors in the Catholic Conference. The young team, consisting mostly of freshmen, played their way into the GCAC playoffs, however, losing to a tough McAuley team, Fortunately, all of the team members will be back again next year, with their talents and alittle more experience. y
